Data handling

Draft — review by a qualified lawyer before publishing.

How we handle data during an engagement.

Lawful basis and minimisation

We process personal data only on a lawful basis and only to the extent relevant to the matter. We do not gather data beyond what the engagement requires.

Sources

We work from official registries, public sources, and licensed databases. We do not use stolen or illegally obtained data, and we do not bypass the terms of the services we rely on.

Provenance

Every finding is recorded with its source and the date it was obtained, so it can be independently verified.

Confidentiality and storage

Client material is held in confidence, restricted to those working on the matter, and retained only as long as the engagement and our legal obligations require.

Subcontractors

Where specialists are engaged, they are bound by confidentiality and given access only to what their task requires.

Subject rights

Where individuals exercise data-protection rights, we handle requests in line with applicable law. Contact [email protected].
